colour selection guide
In order to assist you in making the right colour choice for your accessories, please see below for a description of the main colours that we list here on this site.
The main bridal colours are listed in order from the palest, white through to the darker gold tones.

WHITE The palest of colours. Bright white. Not to be confused with silk white. If your gown is made of silk, please select an off-white or silk white coloured accessory to match.
SILK WHITE A slightly off-white tone. Gowns that are made of silk in a white colouring are not as stark white as synthetic blend fabrics. There is a softness to the white and it doesn't pick up the slight blue undertones that synthetic whites do.
OFF-WHITE The next shade darker from white. It is in between white and light ivory but does not really contain any yellow or creamy undertones that ivory does.
LIGHT IVORY A beautiful, slightly creamy tone, but no real yellowness. It has a softness and slight warmth to it's presentation.
IVORY A creamier tone with a butterish quality. Yellowish undertones.
CHAMPAGNE A combination of ivory and beige to give a soft, but more earthy and antique quality.
ANTIQUE GOLD Very similar in colour to champagne, with a little less beige in the undertones. Coordinates very well with both champagne and gold colours.
GOLD A deeper, warmer shade than champagne with earthy, beige undertones.
ALMOND Light beigey shade that has a rose undertone. Very soft and beautiful colour.
SILVER Light silver grey metallic shade.
OYSTER A combination of ivory and light silver tones. Quite a modern and contemporary colour for brides.
PLATINUM Silvery grey with a slight gold undertone. Beautiful sheen. |
